By downloading, installing, or using the Baby Novum mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users who access the App on a free or premium basis.
Baby Novum is a pregnancy companion application that provides tools for tracking health metrics, nutrition, wellbeing, and personal memories during pregnancy. The App is available on iOS devices.
Features include, but are not limited to: fetal development tracking, health metric logging (blood pressure, weight, kick counter, contractions), nutrition and hydration tracking, wellbeing check-ins and diary, photo timeline, letters to baby, and birth preparation tools.
Free Tier: The App offers a free tier with limited functionality. Free features are described in the App and on our website. No payment information is required to use the free tier.
Premium Subscription: Access to Premium features requires a paid subscription, available at the following prices:
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store (iOS) account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for the unused portion of any subscription period, except as required by applicable law.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) in accordance with their terms and conditions. Baby Novum does not store your payment information.
Free Trial: We may offer free trial periods at our discretion. If not cancelled before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable fee.
Baby Novum operates on a local-first architecture. Your personal data, health metrics, diary entries, photos, and other content are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. You do not need to create an account to use the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any biometric or PIN access to the App. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized access.
We advertise Baby Novum on Facebook and Instagram, and the App includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK so that we can measure which of those campaigns actually work. On iOS this requires your permission: the App asks through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt at first launch, and if you decline, nothing described below is ever sent.
If you agree, Meta receives your advertising identifier (IDFA), your IP address, your device model and operating system version, and four conversion events — registration complete, paywall viewed, trial started, and subscription purchased, including the amount paid and its currency. That is the entire list.
Consent is not a condition of using Baby Novum. Declining it, or withdrawing it later, does not restrict any feature, change any price, or degrade the App in any way. You can withdraw it at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Meta acts as a separate data controller for that data, under its own policy. The full detail — every field sent, how to withdraw consent, and the California "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" notice — is in our Privacy Policy.
You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App, including diary entries, photos, letters, and health data ("User Content"). Since all User Content is stored locally on your device, Baby Novum does not access, use, or transmit your User Content to our servers. The advertising measurement described in Section 5 does not touch User Content either: no part of it is transmitted, sampled, or summarised.
By using the App, you grant yourself (and only yourself) the right to create, modify, and delete your User Content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and ensuring it does not violate any laws.
The App, including its design, text, graphics, illustrations, animations, and software code, is the exclusive property of Baby Novum and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided by the App.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BABY NOVUM AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the App and on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
